I just received word from the Cabarrus County Board of Elections that the latest batch of signatures I turned in put me over the top.
Success!
I now have 211 certified signatures. I needed 200, so we are in the clear!
Thank you to everyone who has helped me reach this important goal. You have just saved me and the campaign $1,740 in filing fees.
For those interested in statistics, I turned in 326 raw signatures. 211 of those were verified. That rounds up for a 65% verification rate. Not too bad considering the majority of the signatures were gathered in front of the Cabarrus County Courthouse.
